The Steering Committee for Ridgeview’s Alumni Association has more than 100 members who are committed to supporting current adult patients. Alumni are available to talk with patients and families new to recovery, encourage involvement in 12-step programs, and provide support as patients leave treatment and transition back to their daily lives. Many former patients have told us that talking to someone who had experienced success in recovery offered tremendous hope, support and guidance in their early recovery.

They publish a bi-annual newsletter circulated to 3500 alumni. The Alumni Association is responsible for planning, constructing and maintaining the beautiful serenity garden on our campus.

Young Adult Addiction patients who have completed treatment at Ridgeview also participate in this Alumni Association. Those who are clean and sober for six months may return monthly to share their experience in early recovery and serve on a panel for young adults and adolescents addressing questions and concerns of those currently in treatment. This group has started a weekly 12-step meeting for both current young adult patients and young adult alumni.
